Some Project Tips

I will add to this list over the next few days.

1. Use the project to think clearly about the course. Always try to write down the models you are estimating using the textbook notation and begin to clearly relate your project ideas to the course ideas. This is the best way to get full benefit from this course.

2. Follow the "ten commandments of applied econometrics" by Peter Kennedy below

5. Try to visualise yourself answering the job interview questions "So you are an economist, tell me about a research project you have been involved in".
