Some Resources for Maths and Stats

The first lectures covered some basic Matrix algebra. Some of you asked for some material that you could be directed to for revision of Matrix algebra. Fearghal and I suggest the following:

Appendix Section in Johnson and DiNardo

Chang, A., "Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics" is probably the best undergraduate textbook. Part 2 overviews the basic matrix algebra and is useful for revision.

Schaum's outline of theory and problems of introduction to mathematical economics

See below for a full-year PhD course that is given in Wisconsin. Appendix A is a little more detailed than Verbeek and worth consulting
